    Went to check one out, Dealer wanted 30k.....

    anyone recommend any boat similar to the Klamath

    Just wanna update yall, picked up this baby up in Washington! Long 13hr drive... saved myself some $$$ avoiding sales taxes beside the $2.5k register fee... good thing full boat insurance is cheap ! $270 for the whole year! Tacoma did pretty good at towing!

    If you're going to load the boat on windy days definitely get yourself a set of side bunks. They're a huge help, especially if you back the trailer in a little too deep and the boat is able to get pushed over the side of the trailer.

    I've restored a couple older boston whalers that didn't cost me a whole lot. I've had aluminum boats, but after fishing from these glass boats its hard to go back....at least while using them in the lakes, and salt water i fish.
