Any interest in a trade situation for a very well maintained and modified '97 landcruiser with 280k miles? If so, any updated pics of truck?

To give you an idea - 2.5 inch lift, new tires, tons of mechanical work, radiator, steering, all brakes, solar panels, arb w/ winch, etc etc

Possibly... Your truck seems familiar too. Were you and your gf out on a CruiserFest trail ride a couple years back?

This truck drives pretty awesome now, bit it's still not meeting my needs. I'd love to move it along.

Just keeping this thing. Everybody thinks since it's got a couple small issues, that I'll sell it for the same price as some junked out 300k mile stock truck. Nope.

How much? And don't assume I'll only pay junked out 300k mile stock truck money. FFS. The reason you haven't sold it is because you berate people instead of telling them what they need to know. HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT. And yes. This is my first post. Because I came here to buy a Tacoma. I'm not a Tacoma owner but I plan to be. And this is exactly the kind of truck I'm looking for.

LOL. Ok. Berate people instead of telling them how much I want? LOL. This ad wasn't made yesterday when you joined... the ad had been up for a few months. And it had a price when it was for sale (It's required here, in case you didn't know) and I even adjusted the price down a handful of times. Still nobody was willing to pay more than 300k junked out stock truck price. I had plenty of messages on it. And sure, there were some guys who talked some big game and they seemed serious, but then wanted me to discount it another $1000 for shipping (WTH. You needing it shipped ain't on me.) or they just disappeared or couldn't come up with the money. I even had a dude tell me some fairy tale about "the same truck for sale in NorCal" that was a good few $1000s less than what I was asking "but he liked mine better" so he'd pay that price for mine. Riiiiiiiiiiggght. Same truck for thousands less. Suuuuuuuure. I told him he better go jump on that other deal.

Like I said, this truck ain't for sale anymore. Sorry.

You spoke of SDtrucks.com doing the 5MT swap. That url is not valid when I try.

Just looking to do some research if you don't mind making sure it is the correct website. Thanks.

Just looked back at the info from the PO that had it done and he said it was http://sdtruckshop.com/. I put the url wrong in my post. Sorry about that. Fixed it.

Beautiful rig. If it was still for sale, I’d be interested for sure. I joined TW as well to hopefully become a Tacoma owner - coming over from a 98’ 4runner - toyo 4 life!

Summer's over, work has relaxed a bit, and I'm ready to move on from this truck. One last push to try to sell it on here to somebody that'll appreciate it.

Thanks. I need a bit bigger truck to fit more junk in the bed and to pull a midsize camp trailer. Going to a 1G Tundra DoubleCab and ready to pull the trigger as soon as I find the right one.

And I would still happily trade this Tacoma for the right 2005 or 2006 Tundra Double Cab (4wd or 2wd).

For anyone that's followed along, I've done a good bunch of maint and update on this truck the past year. Just put in a brand new HD flywheel and HD clutch kit from LCE *and* a replacement 90k miles trans and case as the old one started to have issues getting into 3rd easily. Also got a new OEM carrier bearing at the same time. It drives like a dream now, but it still doesn't work for my needs.

Dang, I haven't been on here a while and just seeing this. This is a steal, now you've got me wondering which of mine to sell in order to grab this.
