I know I'm gonna get roasted with this haha, but I just want to make sure I'm ordering correctly.

I want 33s on my 2020 off road. I'm going to put on a fox 2.5 lift kit at the same time. I have been reading and researching wheel offsets for far too long. I want to know your opinion on what to go with given I don't want the wheel sticking out very far from the fenders. I'm fine doing the CMC by the way.

I keep seeing 0 offset is good, but also as much as - 25.

Help! And please be easy on me, I suck at this

I leveled my truck 3 front 2 rear. I’m running
285/70/17 Falken WP’s with Method 312 (0 offset). Very minimal rubbing removed my mud flaps.

    I’ve got 285/70/17 KO2, 3”/2” leveling kit, Method 701 +0 and have zero rub.

    Evening,

I just did 285/75r16. 3/2 leveling kit. My rim has a -6 offset. The stick out just a bit. Just enough you can see sidewall and maybe some tread in the mirror when driving if I tilt the mirror. It is not noticeable unless looking for it. It rubbed the first time yesterday when I had full left turn jumping a median because I did not want to wait for the traffic light. It was barely a rub. I could count 4 or 5 blocks that hit as I was driving that I heard hit the liner at most. I did not see anything. I think 0 is best, -25 is way too much

    Nice,

sorry if I missed. What color is the truck? Not my style really, but right specs. Lightweight, and 8” means you can go with a 75 cross section without the tire ballooning.

    Truck is Voodoo Blue

We all have different tastes, would be boring if we all wanted the same stuff.

The 75 ability is desirable to me.

You mean aspect ratio? That’s what the middle number is.

Width in in mm/aspect ratio/wheel diameter.

I just put 285/75 16s on SCS F5 with with -25. Its a lot. I had to max out my lca caster even with the JBA high casters. Pinch weld had to be flattened and a cab mount is a must. Even with all that Im not sure I wont rub while off roading. I may end up switching to 0 offset wheel.

I have Falkens super quiet but some have reported they have an issue where they pull right.

I recommend you talk to your shop about putting together a package for you and you not buy off 4 wheel parts their prices can be a little steep.

With tires it all depends really on what you wanna do with your truck. If it’s trail riding and hwy, Go with Nitto’s. The ridge grappler is made in a P285/70-17 so it will save weight on the tires. The Falken Wildpeak AT/3W is good until it wears beyond the halfway point. As far as offset, it depends on the look you want. Me personally, the 0 looks good with just the slightest poke.

0 offset bro, I would avoid CMC. I know a toyota mechanic and he showed me a truck that had a poorly done CMC and that truck was marked as totaled and had to get a 13k frame replacement

oh man, my eyes just popped outta my head. I get my motegi wheels and mickey thompson A/T tires mounted on tomorrow, I have no idea how it is going to look.

I wanted ray 10's and Toyo Open Country R/T's, but this'll work for now. The Mickey's I got are 32.6" 285/75/r16 compared to the R/T's which are 32.8". With a 3" lift, everything I've seen about full 33" tires is that you'll need CMC and cutting in the front which scares the heck outta me, but those are 285's in M/T. 32.8" is fine with +0 offset from what it looks like and 32.6" should be really safe

The important thing isn't to puss out and get 265's and 275's just because you see all the horror stories, just know that getting another half inch of negative wheel offset or wheel width, or .2" of tire isn't worth the CMC and cutting if that matters to you
