Has anybody heard back and/or gotten shipping notification which actually shows their item on the way?

I ordered my low pro front bumper back at the end of November.
In January I reached out asking about the product lead times being removed from the site and was told that my bumper should be done "very soon."
In March I started emailing again, and heard back early April - I was then told my bumper should ship out the week of April 12th.
I haven't heard a followup to my emails after that, and right now Mobtown is saying they're working on a batch of three low pro bumpers that will be done "early this week."
Add to that the users here showing shipping notification ten days ago but no item actually shipped, and I've entirely lost faith. If you give me a deadline, you need to meet that deadline, or communicate with me why that hasn't occurred. Period.

Edit: Mobtown immediately reached out to me regarding this. I will let you all know how that turns out.

 

I ordered during the black Friday sale got a tracking Number 4/26/2021

 

Just an update for those of you still waiting on orders to go out - I finally got tracking info yesterday and it's showing that it's in route as of yesterday afternoon. Initial order made 11/27/20, order finally shipped 4/29/21.

 

Emailed @Mobtown Offroad twice last week but I'm worried that they got buried, so given the success on this thread figured I'd try here.

Was looking to get an update for my plate bumper order #15593 , placed on 11/6/2020. Last time we communicated in mid March you said you'd hope to be done with bumpers within 2 weeks. Just wanted to get an ETA cause they're some trips I'd love to go on but I need a winch to do them.

Hey @Mobtown Offroad can I get an update on my order, #15592?

I placed the order on 11/6, and at the time the ETA was 16 weeks which would have been 2/26.

On 3/8 you got back to me and estimated another three weeks to ship, which would have been 3/29.

Last week, on 4/29 I emailed you again asking for another update and haven't heard back yet.

Do you have an updated estimate on when the bumper will ship?

 

@Mobtown Offroad I just sent another email looking or an update. My email from 4/29 is still unanswered. This is in regards to order #15592.

At this point I am just looking for some peace of mind that my order is still in the works, and that they money I shelled out back in November isn't being used to fund pina coladas on a beach somewhere. I get and understand supply chain issues, labor shortages, acts of god ect., but a little communication and transparency goes a long way.

 

Joe did get back to me and informed me that they are having issues with getting the bumper through powder coating. Said that they have been having issues for quiet some time. I don't know if it is related to quality issues of due to an unreliable sub contractor that they pay to PC items. I do appreciate his response. He did not provide an updated time frame this time.

 

Joe got back to me as well and said I should be getting my order in 5 weeks at the latest.

 

My bumper did make it in on time per the shipping info I received - looks to be nicely welded and well made. I'm going to be coating it in raptor liner and mounting it up with the winch hopefully this coming weekend - it's been too cold here for the liner to cure properly in the garage.

 

What was your total time between ordering and delivery? Joe told me that it is the powder coating that is causing the bottle neck, so yours won't be an exact apples to apples comparison for those of us waiting for PC bumpers.

 

Ordered 11/27/20, delivered to my door 5/4/21. Even when I put in the order initially they quoted an additional 10 days to 2 weeks for powdercoat. No idea what the backlog is on PC now...

I'm planning on hitting mine with bedliner and calling it a day. It was a hassle and a half. Glad I didn't opt for powdercoat last year...

 

Ok. Myself and a few others have earlier orders ~11/7. Powder coating was estimated to add another 4 weeks at that point. Joe has been in communication and said it is the PC that is causing the most headaches.

 

Has anyone gotten their rock sliders? I ordered mine October 8th, a lady on the phone told me that they usually get done way faster than what the lead times say on the website. Then in early January, I checked in and was told they were a couple weeks behind but should have them by late January. After no updates, I checked in again early February...was told they were running my sliders right then. February 22nd was told they were getting welded the next day and headed to powder coat and that it would be a 2 week turnaround from there. After no update by April 6th, I wrote him an email pretty much saying that I still want my sliders but wondering if I'm better off getting a refund at this point. He got back to me within 5 minutes saying the hold up is the power coat but that he could ship them out bare right away if I wanted. So I told him to go ahead and ship them because I'd rather get them linex'd anyways. Then no word from him since April 6th and I've written him a handful of times looking for a response. I hate to put him on blast like this but I'm getting a bit frustrated at this point.

 

I too am awaiting rock sliders w powder coat option. Ordered end of November, picking up local. Was told they would be going to PC by beginning of April basically. If I could just pick them up and get them coated myself, I would at this point.
