    Hello,

Looking for a reputable shop somewhere in Ohio or surrounding states (preferably NE Ohio) to install front and rear Nitro gear kits. Already have the parts, but the shop I was going to use won't be able to get me in within my time restraints. Appreciate any help.

Steves Auto Service in Cuyahoga falls. Did gears for my other rig. Honest shop, great guys. Steer clear of 4 wheel parts in parma like the plague.

I do not remember. I suggest you just call and ask them. Its been a while since i had gears done.

I recommend getting arb air lockers if you think youll want them, cheaper to do it all at once.

Check these guys out also. Shop is owned by a Tacoma guy with an amazing GEN 2 build-up, so he's very knowledgeable and prices are reasonable. I actually just used him this weekend to do a bunch of smaller performance upgrades (SS brake lines, performance pads/rotors and hood strut upgrade).

EDIT: Not sure why I'm not able to post the link. You'll have to google NEO Garage.

    Subbed for info.

Moving back to Ohio in a couple months and want to know who does decent work with things like bumpers and air systems.

So far every shop I've been to has done extensive damage to the truck and parts, or simply overcharged by nearly 100%.

Far as I can tell "SUCKER" isn't stamped across my forehead, but damn if they don't keep ripping me off...

For those in central Ohio who stumble across this thread, I use Babbitt Bearing for gears and axles. Driveline One for driveshafts.

Ive recently tried put NEO motorsports in North Royalton. I have to say, i like Roman, and he has done a good job for me so far. I was even able to wait for the work to be finished. I was also invited to watch him and ask questions.

    What'd you have done?

Gussetted spindles came in today and I'm weighing DIY vs. maybe letting yet another shop mess up my truck a little more...

He adjusted my front coil overs to give me some needed extra height since adding my front bumper and winch.

He did it TWICE that day because he wanted a little more height than the first adjustment. It took him like 5 minutes to get the coil over out of one side. Im a diy guy, but no way im that fast. I bet he could do your spindles in a couple hours.

Deffinately think, whats your time worth? I say give him a call.

I THINK he may be out of town for a couple weeks with his racing team though.

I think because neo refused to be an official vendor.

That whole thing sounds very odd. Why would anyone be forced to be an official vendor? And then punished for not taking up the option?

And if he had an opportunity, why would he turn it down? It seems like quite a few vendors want to be official in here, but don't have the opportunity to.
