Look into radesigns shifter. He has a winters shifter that’s wired with a switch to convert back and forth between manual and auto. I haven’t wired mine yet but just unplugged the computer from the transmission and it works fine. Just no od. Does leave a constant check engine light.

No, my Tacoma isn't my daily any more. Thanks for the Links, Just took a gander at the first link, wow, that's a lot of work hahaha.

Oh, that's nice, I can switch from man and auto. That's interesting.

Also can wire a switch for the tc lockup/unlock. He even has the new vx shifter for the a340.

I wouldn't say the RADesigns kit is full manual valve body, you don't modify the valve body at all. All you do is control the solenoids in the valve body so it's still electric control, you just have control of what gear you are in. I have it in my truck and hardly ever use it but it does work good!
