I plan on getting a Rough Country 4-inch lift, I don't do too much off-roading, pretty much just towing a small duck boat, but I was wondering what tires and rims I could run to not scrub, I've been doing research on this for weeks and have gotten mixed advice from so many different people. I want some stance but not wanting to put on any wheel spacers and not wanting to go larger than a 33-inch tire, any advice would be greatly appreciated, I was told by some buddies in a Tacoma Facebook group to come here for this advice.

Rethink going 4”. It’s a db kit so if down the road you want to go back to stock it’s a pia.

If you don’t offroad and don’t want to go bigger than 33 there is little/no reason other than aesthetics to do a 4” lift. Going with that type of lift would IMO be unnecessarily expensive and cause failure points where they don’t exist now. I’d think real hard if that’s what you really want to do.

265/75/16 or 265/70/17 is the normal answer dependent on which wheel backspace/offset you are doing.
