Gotcha, yeah I chopped my DMZ kit out and built my new setup. Nothing wrong with how the dmz kit worked, just trying to make things more ideal for my usage.

So @Y2kbaja you have any axle wrap with your setup? How long are your shackles?

12" shackles and yes, probably have axle wrap. But I cruise a little slower now and just pull the fun lever (4wd) whenever the road is inclined.

Would probably be easier and better clearance to try a panhard bar behind the axle before attempting some kinda ladder bars

panhard bars are for controlling lateral axle movement.

What he said. I need to keep the axle from trying to rotate about itself. Going to run the ruff stuff anti wrap bar inbetween the exhaust and driveshaft. 0F412369-5186-4446-A57A-E2533862A6FA.jpg

I threw a cross bar in directly below the carrier bearing between the frame rails and will have the front pivot point facing rear wards off that. Then so I don’t lose any clearance I’ll run the shackle on the top side of the pivot opposite of the pic. Lower tube will be parallel to the driveshaft so no loss of clearance there and it will potentially protect it from rocks and what not
