Had a great trip back to spend the week with the family in Huntingdon Valley last week.

Upgraded the grille on my '19 to a '21 grille. Also gave the truck a nice bath and another hybrid ceramic coat.

The tacoma hit 7,000 miles last week. I didn't buy the truck for the gas mileage, but I've always averaged somewhere around 18, which I'm more than happy with.

Did a TON of yard work. My 14 year old son is handling the yard for the first time while I'm deployed and he's doing a fine job, but I kicked it up a notch while I was home. This yard has come a long way in the two years we've owned the house. You could barely see the front of the house when we bought it, the front yard was a small forest and full of weeds.

Added some more tulips around the tree. I started buying my wife tulips for Mother's Day every year (they're her favorite) and afterwards we plant them under this tree. This is our second year doing it.

My blower bit the dust while I was home so I bought a new one. Wished I had bought a backpack blower years ago, it changed my life last week!

Also drove through the old Philadelphia Navy Shipyard and saw an old friend...USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67). I spent my first three years in the Navy on this ship. It's hard to see it rotting away like this.

Made it back to Bahrain late last night. It was 102 today...miserable. Hopefully I'll make it home again this fall.

Yard and truck look great! You'll love that blower, I sold a BR600 and bought the BR200, my 9 year old son runs it more than I do now. Thank you for your service :hattip:

@4x4Taco2012 Thank You Sir for Your Service :oldglory:. I felt the same way when I saw the USS Forrestal Rusting away. Only spent 10 months on her but all good memories. Be safe over there and god speed for a quick safe return to the family.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians!! Hump Day!!

I got all of the old windows out of the greenhouse and most of the skin off the lower portion, too. I'm hoping to have it stripped to the studs by this afternoon. I need to vacuum the pool, too!

    Be safe!

Good morning all! Work has been keeping me busy for once so I haven't had much opportunity to get on here. Kind of nice that we're picking up though and I hope it continues.

Glad to hear someone's experience with Liberty Mutual is going well. My girlfriend and I were on vacation in TN in 2019 on a motorcycle and got hit head on totaling my bike and that driver had Liberty Mutual. The accident wasn't as bad as our dealings with Liberty. Got hit 9/20/2019 and finally got settled in May of 2020 after we had to call lawyers and get them involved. Best of luck to you.

    Good Morning PA Folks.

Damn Chuck, So sorry to hear that first off you were involved in an accident and second, that Liberty Mutual didn't take care of things without you having to get a lawyer involved. I had a similar issue with Allstate back in 2010. Insurance companies are the worst when it comes to paying out but will drop you in an instance if your payment is over 30 days past due only because it is the law. Just glad you got it settled.

    Have a safe Day folks.

We were really pretty fortunate in that the accident could have been much worse or even fatal. We always wear full gear when riding and that definitely saved us a lot of pain. She had 2 compression fractures of lower vertebrae and that was the worst of it. Liberty just set me off almost from the start when they called her less than 2 weeks after the accident and asked if she was ready to sign off and get this settled. She hadn't attended her second session of physical therapy and they want her to sign off? Let's just say it was a really bad experience and they left us feeling ripped off even after it was done. Every time I see one of their commercials now with that stupid emu it makes me want to throw a brick thorough my television.
