Lift may help with that, mine doesn’t rub any fender spots just the frame.

    New House

June 7, 2021 - After 7 months we finally found a house in that dreadful housing market. That means I was finally able to get my truck out of "storage" and in my own driveway again. The night I moved the truck it was raining and the windshield wipers immediately came apart when I turned them on. To the parts store for some wipers, some Lucas Oil injector cleaner and the car wash to clean all this tree sap off from the massive tree it was under.

    2021 Was Nearly Mod-Free Until...

December 30, 2021 - I realized that I hadn't done a single thing to the truck this year, and I just couldn't let 2021 end that way and needed some momentum entering 2022 to finish up some mods-on-deck. I saw these really cool aftermarket bed hooks made for Tacomas, said on the website that they fit 2nd and 3rd Gen Tacomas. I liked them enough that I made the assumption that they'll probably fit 1st Gen Tacomas too. Unfortunately they do not, the holes are just a smidgen too far apart for the 1st Gen. Nothing a Dremel can't take care of.

Last Mod of the Year - Seat Jackers

December 30, 2021 - If you've spent any time in these trucks on a road trip you know the seats can be uncomfortable. Many opt to switch them out for 4Runner seats with lumbar control while other goes completely aftermarket. I can't find 4Runner seats and don't want to spend alot on aftermarket seats that don't match the interior. Instead, I purchased these Seat Jackers from @EasyDoesIt of Desert Does It. You can find the thread here. I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a difference this made in comfort. I believe the height and angle change support the legs better, you can see in the last picture how the height and angle has changed as compared to the passenger seat. Quick 10 minute upgrade to end the year with.

Glad you figured that out bc I checked the site before seeing this post and it had me disappointed. I'm probably going to order myself a set. How have they held up?

Does the Volant Cold Air Intake box allow for the use of the Mass Airflow Sensor? I love the look of that box vs. the stock one. Also your lucky to have a ARE Brand shell. Snug Top's quality has gone to the dogs over the
years. ARE is truly premium. Very nice truck keep the posts coming.

It does, MAF sensor is in the box. Truck actually got a facelift - new pro grill, new projection headlights, winch got rewound with synthetic rope just need to post the update. Stay tuned!
