I'm not a huge fan of how they did the new windshield on the new tacomas. The moldings come attached to the glass and they are thick in the winter it's almost impossible to put them in. There is no give on them when it's super cold.

 

I know this feel. We are still dealing with the aftermath of my son getting hit by a car back May of 19
The woman who hit him has State Farm and they are refusing financial responsibility. Now signed on with a 2nd legal firm because the 1st one gave up trying to go after them.
Meanwhile we are on the hook for tens of thousands in medical still as it hasn't been resolved.

I'm not looking for a windfall, I just want what's right. Should not have to fight for that but we do.

 

Anyone paying more that $3.20 a gal for gas? I've been seeing $3.199 this week. But paid 2.84 at Sam's club.

Just glad you and and yours weren't more seriously hurt Chuck. Motorcycle versus car usually ends much worse for the riders. I hate insurance companies but they are a necessary evil that we must have.

I know where you are coming from Craig. I just hope the new law firm can get your medical paid. How is your son doing? any after effects? It took me almost a year and a half to get a settlement for my suit from my accident in August of 2019. Good luck to you and hope it gets resolved.

There should be a false advertising or something to get these insurance companies on. They are making big money and don't want to pay out what should be owed.

He's got a long road of Orthodontics ahead of him but other than that and a few scars he's doing great. It took a while for him to get back to 100%. I would say about 9 months. Thanks Ken.

 

This is in Hagerstown, MD today right across the PA border. Usually they're 20 cents cheaper...

 

I ran into some issues with State Farm years back involving my bikes. Learned the hard way from my agent that State Farm really only insures motorcycles, boats, and RVs as a "courtesy" to their car and home owners clients. They don't even have any actual adjusters to go look at those vehicles, at least not in PA, and that lead to a real mess. Moved my bikes to Progressive and they've been awesome for me when I needed them.

I hope you get your situation squared away. That is total BS what you must go through just to get "made whole". Insurance really is a racket isn't it?

Yes it's pretty stout with several different size connectors. Unfortunately no covers and the factory one doesn't play well with it.

My gas station, a Shell, is at $3.09/gallon as of last week, but I have a 5 cents discount per gallon, so I effectively pay $3.04.

Nah. If I do buy liquor I try and go to the one in Longmeadow by the Amish place.

 

What years were you on Big John? I was E Div. 1981 - 82. Did 2 Meds and an IO.
