I'm gonna give The Bearded Goon's a shot. It's kinda expensive. I suppose it's ok as long as it works though. Also might give Badass Beard Balm a try too.

MAY CHILL: Here are some temperatures across Alabama early this morning, just before sunrise…

    Cullman 41
    Black Creek 41
    Fort Payne 42
    Haleyville 43
    Gadsden 44
    Meridianville 44
    Pell City 45
    Hueytown 45
    Weaver 45
    Alexander City 46
    Anniston 48
    Birmingham 50
    Montgomery 50
    Demopolis 52
    Mobile 55

The next time we see temperatures this low will likely be in October. Today will feature sunshine in full supply with a high in the mid 70s. We stay dry over the weekend with lots of sunshine… the high tomorrow will be close to 80, followed by low 80s Sunday.

NEXT WEEK: Look for rising heat and humidity levels as an upper ridge builds across the Deep South. Monday will stay mostly dry with only isolated showers, then we will have some risk of “widely scattered, mostly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms” on a daily basis Tuesday through Friday, much like summer. The most widespread rain remains west of Alabama during the week, and afternoon highs will be mostly in the mid 80s, close to seasonal averages. See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

ON THIS DATE IN 1923: An early morning violent estimated F5 tornado cut a 45-mile path of destruction through Howard and Mitchell counties in Texas. 23 people lost their lives and 250 sustained injuries. The path width of the tornado reached 1.5 miles at one point, and entire farms were “wiped off the face of the earth.” The First Baptist Church in Colorado City, Texas became an emergency hospital for tornado victims.

ON THIS DATE IN 2014: Three EF-0 tornadoes touched down across Alabama… they came in Clay, Tallapoosa, and Bullock counties. Damage was mostly confined to trees
