Pretty new to the whole truck thing, but how much did you guys spend on wheels? I have been looking at some methods and it seems it’s like 250 a rim?

Really depends on your budget and your needs. Wheels don't have to be expensive to be good and not all expensive wheels are good. Personally, I find a lot of the aftermarket wheels to have very aggressive specs that I'm not very interested in which is why I chose an OEM wheel for my truck.

I also prefer to buy used when possible. Let the first purchaser pay the tax and initial depreciation. That can be factored in going the other way as well... some wheels will hold their value, others won't. You can spend $3500 on a set of Volks and they'll barely depreciate at all. Or you could spend $1500 on some lesser desirable wheels that'll depreciate tremendously.

The other factor is abuse. Do you plan to use them hard or are you going to just mallcrawl and stunt on IG? Personally if I was going to use them a lot I sure wouldn't be buying $3500 Volks.

Good advice above. I spent $250/wheel on mine. Got the tires for about $750. Moved the TPMS from my old set and got the new wheels/tires mounted and balance for $200. All said and done about $2000 for a new set. Subtract how ever much you can sell your OEM set for and it's really not a bad deal to really transform the look of your truck.

I was looking at methods but I was confused about the bolt pattern you have to add, I know I have 6 lugs on it but I wasn’t sure what it means, any tips?

6 lugs is just the number of lugs holding the wheel on. The 4 cylinders have a 5 lug wheel. Most Tacos have a 6x5.5 pattern which is the same as 6x139.7. One is just 5.5" and the other is 139.7 mm. As long as you choose a 6x139.7 or 6x5.5 it'll mount. You'll need to double check the backspacing and tire size you're wanting for rub.

I’m just keeping my same tires, I’ll just make sure I put in the 6x5.5. Should be all good if I do the 16 inch wheel with the 6x5.5, I mean my tire right now says only mount on a 16 inch. Thanks for all the help!
