Hey so my dads truck started leaking coolant out of the bottom of the overflow tank. It's leaking out of this cap on the bottom of the tank. We think it's a blown headgasket because it's bubbling from the bottom up. Thanks

Mine leaked in the same place until I used a regular screw hose clamp. Head gasket could still be blown, worth a $2 hose clamp to check.

Go slow and make sure First. This isn't something you want to make a snap judgement about.

Have the coolant checked for exhaust gas.

bubbling up can be exhaust gas. Can be checked with a Block Tester.
the stock clamps are probably not that strong.
With time, the hose dries and hardens, so it does not seal as well as it did when it was new, when the rubber was still soft, pliable, and easy to confirm and squeeze/clamp to whatever it's on.
Sometimes even re-doing all that can help. Like cleaning, remove & re-install, re-positioning clamp. Maybe even liquid to help it seal, whether it be silicone, rubber-safe lube, coolant, etc
cheaper and easier to try that first before replacing lots of parts

He decided to get it towed. We were with a friend doing a dirtbike race so they were able to take us home. He's taking it in tomorrow. Thanks
