For a $100ish clutch it is likely a chinese special. If it were me I would do the "HD" upgrade using OEM parts. You would get the greater clamping force you seek and the good AISIN components. And it was a TSB for the stock clutch. Not a 110 bux but who wants to do the job again and again? Not the place to cheap out IMHO.

Absolutely agree with bassackwards on this one. Sometimes the cheaper stuff is ok to use but it depends on what it is. I have a set of cv shafts on it now that are a cheaper aftermarket because my boots got a tear and I wanted to get them off as soon as possible so I could replace the boot and grease and save my Toyota axle. I put them in awhile ago and they have been just fine but when I replaced my clock spring I went straight from Toyota because it controls my air bad and I want the highest quality possible. Same thing for your clutch. My axles I can swap out in a couple hours or less but a clutch is a big job at home and an expensive one if you have to take it in to the shop. Get the good stuff you do not want to have to fix it again in 3 months I promise.
