May be easier to just use boots. Can be found for cheap and readily available.

Fair enough. Does it have to be the broom stuff? Could you just use a rubber?

Brush is one solution. The other popular one is two rubber sheet strips interleaved together, very common on aircraft (also replicated on PC flightsim hardware)

I've redone some of our farm vehicles with this method and it works well.

I deleted a few things, and the stuff it did was kinda important.

    (1) is to disable the locker anytime mod. Engaging the locker on the highway, while attempting to toggle my fog lights is no bueno.

    (2) is to disable VSC in 4hi, cuz I had that stupid VSC crap

These will make up for no longer having a 4WD ECU :cookiemonster:

I’ll have to check the vsc stuff in 4hi. Don’t have any switches for my setup so we will see. May have missed something. Or maybe just a benefit of having an “sr5” lol

    Yes that is correct.

SR5 dont have all the options mine does, it is specifically for the off-road.

VSC is for when you are spinning your tires and they are turned, it is trying to guess that you are not going the direction you want to be going. Tries to adjust using brakes, AND throttles the engine

Best way to get stuck is allow the stupid truck to throttle the engine when you want to spin the tires. :bananadead:

Ah gotcha. I just have the traction control or what ever but I believe it kicks off under 20-40km/h in 4wd. Been a while since I have looked into this lol.

I think that won’t be an issue down the road when the abs is deleted from the truck. Don’t think I’ll be able to integrate the Tacoma sensors in a gm axle. Haven’t looked into it yet though.

Yea it is another level of traction control.

When you pin it to spin the tires, you might not be moving at 40KM/h but your tires are. That is where the engine throttle BS comes in, and it tries to stop you from digging a hole.

At least this is how I have convinced myself it works :notsure:
