This is NOT the thread on how to acquire Techstream, registering it, or acquiring a functional OBD II interface. This is purely about the functionality available to the 2nd gen from Techstream. GO here for that stuff...

I can't seem to find a resource on what is available on Techstream, so I'm going to start posting information here... Your experiences may vary as I have a 2015 Tacoma TRD OffRoad DCSB automatic.

    … [PLACEHOLDER FOR NOW] …

Main desires that I have verified:
    • Disable/Enable Driver/Passenger seatbelt chime
    • Change TPMS sensor IDs (Unsure if I can program in a 5th sensor for spare tire...)
    • Add an additional G-Key as additional spares (Unsure of number of key limits)
    • Run test cycles on SAIS system (2012-2015)
    • Play with the combination meter (see attached photo below) - test illumination of all LEDs/bulbs, test needles moving along analog gauges.

I have used Techstream a few times so far to fix my rig.

Currently in use to help me correct a driver side airbag problem.

I have the complete owner's manual/user guide/ whatever else you may want to call the thing. It is in five large parts. Is that the kind of thing you were thinking?

I don’t believe the Factory Service Manual includes a user guide on Techstream. It may reference some parts of it in Active Tests.
