    Yeah we just bought some 2.5 mild steel tubing and made the rest of the exhaust - much cheaper and easier than sourcing something that bolts on. Paid $130 to have it ceramic coated inside and out.

    How much would you say a 2.5" exhaust would be (in just piping?) with a muffler

    If I did all the work myself

    I think it was around $70 with a bung but I bought a better one off of the net and a v band between the cat and the muffler to make it easy to remove.

    I bought two sets of these to make sure it didn’t shake at all:

    well I broke down friday. NO ENGINE FAULTS DETECTED WITH SCANNER. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. The truck acted like I was out of gas but I wasn't. In neutral I can rev it out to redline. But when I try and drive once i get around 15mph it cuts all power then when it slows down enough it will go again. truck runs perfect up to 15mph. I changed the fuel pressure regulator but it wasnt the problem. I have now noticed the Throttle position sensor is buzzing loudly with key on. I am picking up a TPS sensor in the morning. Does that sound like a tps?

    * when it stalls the truck it feels like it just cuts all timing like it feels with the knock sensors, but last time that happened to me it threw the code & check engine came on

    Can you see what it’s reading with a scanner?

    We mean live data, our trucks will show short term and long term fuel trims and timing as well while plugged in.

    I don't know. I put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail and did all fuel pressure checks it was all within spec

    I guess my tps sensor is a 4 wire that they don't sell at the auto part stores, they only sell the 3 wire. I have no idea why they are different but this is a pain in the a**

    @mechanicjon

    I’d get a scanner that can tell you what the tps is reading and see where you might have an issue.

    I believe because you’re an 03-04 with the drive by wire instead of a throttle cable 96-01.

    03-04 definitely had a different throttle body from previous years. IIRC there were combination throttle cable and drive by wire 4runners and possibly Tacoma’s.
