Looking for OV tuning in or around Ky

Does anyone know of someone doing OV tuning in or around central or eastern KY?

 

Or in Western KY/Southern IN

 

I see a business opportunity for someone in the area. I am just not technically capable of tuning someone’s truck. I would be a nervous wreck doing it.

 

There's another tune around besides OV, maybe look into it.
I know there are tuners between you and myself, just not sure what they offer. Check with diesel shops too, may get lucky

 

There's Vf Tune (KDMAX) that's the rage right now. I have corresponded with @GPatriot who is based out of Cincinnati, and @NickJacq23 who is in the Fort Campbell area. Maybe shoot them a PM.

 

Gentlemen, shoot me a message and I can hook you up with a tune as well as TSB if needed. I frequent bowling green but wouldn't mind making a trip higher in the state if we can get a few guys together.

If there were enough local interest, I'd be willing to buy it and tune people. What's it normally cost to pay someone else to install this?

I'm in Lexington. I'm saying what is it, 80 bucks for credits for an ECU, and that's only if you need one different than what you already have. So if I could get like 5 or 6 people in lex who want a tune, I could buy it myself and just charge them like $100 bucks plus the $80 if needed to get a tune locally. That's a pretty competitive rate to tune someone right?

 

@danwray so it’s 4 credits per vin as well as 4 for the ecu id so roughly 160 just for one vehicle. On top of that you will need an additional tune pack for each ecu id

 

I am in Scottsville, and work in Bowling Green. I have techstream and VF tune and tactrix cable. If you miss out on today I will help you if you want.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead. I’ve reached out to GPatriot about tuning KdMax. Unfortunately I work weekends and can’t meet up then or his home on week nights in Cincinnati. Completely understand his schedule and wish it worked out with mine. I’m located in Sellersburg IN, 10 mins N of Louisville via 65. Anyone closer to me that could meet say on a Tuesday-Thursday…my off days from work. Thanks for any help.

 

I’m about 3 hours south of you and have guys drive down pretty regularly from that way. I’ll be hosting an event up in Louisville this month but it’ll be on a Saturday.
