Is an erection wrench necessary for this job?

    Yes,
    but it's easy to find,
    because it's blue.

If it was a larger building,
    it would have been black.

Now if I were to say what the Yellow wrench is used for ...
I may get PC demerit points.
    So I'll just say,...
    it's metric.

    Sorry for the late reply.

I bought it , but didn't use it yet.
The only reason i bought it was to give me a back up plan for when the ground is not good enough for a ground tent and also to have an option if i am traveling from spot to spot every day.

This is what i bought. This one allows me to also set it up as a ground tent/swag

The link sends me to "your orders" page.

the Hammock i have is from Costco and the better half of 5 or 6 years old now, but i'm considering doing the same thing you've taken into consideration, if there is a spot that's too uneven for a tent or the Hobo RTT. I figured using my Back rack, i can set up a hammock needing only 1 other tie-off point (another tree or someone's roof rack), all i would need to do is set up a rain fly, bug net, and a sleeping bag cocoon thing for the later seasons and would be all set.

I was thinking about those too, but the one i bought allows it to be used as ground tent or swag. And if i need a bigger rain fly, i can use a 10ft tarp that i already have.
I even had the idea of setting up this hammock/swag over my roof rack when in bear country.

Been in the veggie garden for over a month so I finally made some progress getting the wheel wells back together after the major cleanup/rebuild. This was supposed to be a winter project :angrygirl:

Rear fenders are done and hopefully finish the fronts tonight and take her for a spin.

When a 20 year old truck is cleaner and in better shape then a ten year old one.

@oldtoyotaguy I need your wildlife expertise.
Is this turtle trying to lay eggs, or create a burrow of sorts? Stickin’ it’s neck into the road, but not actively trying to cross. Just Making a hole with hind legs

“If she’s laying eggs, leave her alone”. So I did.

100% she’s laying eggs..... that hole is quite deep....it’s common to find them scratching around (test nests) before they actually pick their spot to lay.

Unfortunately they love the shoulder of roads because the gravel is easy to dig in. That rain a couple days ago combined with the recent temperatures has them on the move big-time.

We have 20 nest protector boxes at work and the summer students have a placed them all on completed nests. Raccoons, skunks, possums, foxes etc. all dig them up. This fact plus roadkill and the sexual maturity of over 10 years of age and also habitat loss has combined for the reduction in turtle numbers.
