    Morning MD.
My truck showed about 2mpg increase from my last trip into the office.
Now, I’m not sure how accurate the computer is for that calculation since the speedometer and mileage since I have bigger tires. Last trip into the office with same tires, was over 15mpg (I think)
The KD Max tune was pretty impressive compared to stock and the latest TSB update. She was not continually hunting gears while driving rolling hills at 60-65mph.

    Thanks for the info.
I have the base OVTune Dave gave me. After receiving the tune I had the same experience as you. I’m trying to find out a little more details on what exactly the KD Max does and how much of a difference it makes from the standard OVTune. Thanks again

Ive read it supposed to be smoother and a little more power/torque but it’s how it feels to one person vs another. There are the mapping pics somewhere. I do know it’s much better than stock.
I was hoping to see how she handled on 95 from Philly but there was a really bad accident in DE and 95 was closed. Ended up taking me 3 hours to get home. 13.5mpg after highway and stop and go for probably 2 of those hours.
1st shifts at 5k, 2nd shifts around 45k. When I was up to speed, she stayed in whichever gear she was in, didn’t really pay attention to what gear I was in. No hunting or changing unless I stepped on the gas. There was still more power if I needed it at 65-70mph.

I'm seeing 18-18.5 running around locally (Westminster, Hampstead, Hanover PA). Would probably see better but I just can't seem to keep my foot out if it :burnrubber::burnrubber:

It’s much more fun/satisfying to drive now. The truck does something when you put your foot down on the gas.

That’s up to 5mpg better than I’d get running around town. Not sure what it’ll be now though. I’ll update once I do.

My shift points never get that high. Heck a high shift would still be around 3k. Truck cruises at <2k at 70.

It could just be me pressing the pedal to the ground, messing around. Still needs more testing lol

Thanks for meeting up with me. I'm not sure everyone sees a noticeable increase in MPG, but even if it stays the same the performance increase I think is still worth getting the tune.

I'll be honest, I've been less concerned about the specific shift points and more about the fact that I can actually close the gap between me and the car in front of me that prevents 45 other cars cutting into my lane before I can catch up on I495 traffic. Or, if I need to switch lanes I can get up to speed before getting rear ended.

That being said I took the omen of seeing 4 car accidents on my commute on Monday and installed a dash camera.

Dash cams are well worth it! To bad after getting in a wreck three years ago was my motivation to get one. Which camera did you get?

I went with the thinkware u1000. I also have a ton of kids in my courtyard that love to play cricket in the street and smash balls into the truck. The parking mode it has was of great interest to me as well =P

I have the rexing V1P Pro with a “parking mode”. It seems to only turn on when I open and close doors. I’ll shake the truck and it won’t turn on which isn’t very effective lol.

    Morning MD.

it is nice knowing that you’ve got a dash cam just in case. I need to see if a little scene I saw yesterday is still on mine. A woman getting out of the drivers seat and hitting on a semis door… it was pretty early in the traffic jam so it might have been recorded over. If I have it I’ll post here later.
