Hey Everyone, I’m new to the area and I’m looking for a good mechanic to replace my shocks, springs and bushing on my 2019. Open to all suggestions just want it done right. If anyone does it on the side I’m good with that too. I was a powersports mechanic all my life so I know how to wrench. I retired in 2017 so I don’t have my shop or tools anymore and don’t know anyone here. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Welcome to TW!

Most of us do things on our own, but you're in a pickle without tools. There's Specialty 4WD in Walton, KY, but that's not too close to L'ville really. I'm sure someone can help you find a place, or one of us shade trees can certainly handle the job.
What are you needing done exactly?

Price you quoted is a bargain.

$468 is a very solid price! $200 sounds like I wouldn't trust them if they were a legit business.
Working solo while consuming beverages and with the right tools, plan for a 4 hour job. Assuming no bolts are seized and bushings don't need burnt out to replace them.

Their shop rate is cheap, 75 per hour. I think they’re are keeping it down until they get a good customer base. Two brothers, lifelong Toyota mechanics just starting out on their own. Should be fine(I hope) It’s not a hard job. Even I could do it.lol

If anyone is interested I had my new stuff put on so if anyone wants my coils, shocks and five tires make me an offer. 10,000 miles on everything except the spare.
