Yes. I’m on 881s and middle perch of 4 perch Tundra 5100s. Much beefier lower eye, BTW.

Do what you want/need. I don’t mind the wrenching. Most alignment shops have a wall mounted compressor as well. If you’re not going to worry with moving the perches any higher may as well get some OME shocks, too. Good reviews on them.

OME 881s w/Bilstein 5100s bottom setting in front. Dakars w/o the AAL and Bilstein 5100s in back. I gained a little more rake since I took the canopy off, which kinda surprised me because those leafs have been on the truck for about 12 years. With the canopy on the whole time. In fact, I recently bought the d43xl AALs to freshen up the rear. I’m gonna wait now and put them on after I have the canopy back on.

Thanks! Its a Leer 100R IIRC. Bought it new in 06 and it fits perfect. It looks like shit now. I took it off to paint it. I’m probably gonna raptor it.

would a 1” block be the same as the add a leaf?

@Nic98Tacoma I'm not to shure I think the Ad leaf was probably around an inch of lift so probably

approximately. AALs usually give anywhere from 1-1.5" of lift, depending on how much weight is in the bed. personally, I recommend AALs over blocks since they lead to less issues overall. blocks are fine, but they exert leverage on the springs which often causes increased axle wrap. you can get around this with a traction bar, but an AAL is way simpler 9 times out of 10.

haha, mine was too a bit. I opted to just go ahead and replace my leaf packs with OME stuff since i was planning on doing a lift, but ended up with an AAL anyways since my front springs were taller than the rear ones:D.

Maybe by looking at it for a few months. Mechanically? No. The tired OEM springs will continue to sag away while an AAL will help hold them up. Both are band aids to an old set of springs.

Stopped and picked these up on the way back from a project in Louisiana for 178 each. Blems are the way to go. Mine is technically a 96 but it will have an 86 Xtracab body on it when its all said and done. 35/10/16 SX2s
    Pretty cheap for a 35..

Just finished my mild lift on my 1999. OME 881 coils up front and Dakars out back. Happy with it so far.
