I picked up this "Hi Lo" 17 foot pop-up camper last November which I'm looking forward to using this camping season. It only weighs 1900lbs and claims to sleep 6, but more realistically it sleeps 4-5. I love how it has solid walls that collapse for easier towing and they keep the heat & a/c in pretty well when raised. These use a cable system with hydraulic ram.MVIMG_20200622_150810.jpg

Ended up selling the camper last spring. Next one will be a little more aerodynamic...maybe a mini-teardrop? IMG-2155.jpg

2021 Jayco Jayflight 154 BH Baja. 2 trips so far, one to Imperial Dam at Yuma with my spouse of 40 years and 2 dogs. One large and one small. Twin Bed, 2 bunks, solar panel, 30lb. propane tank, 40 gal. fresh water tank, 18 Foot. with Off Road Suspension, etc. Comfy. First Travel Trailer. 2nd trip to Anza Borrego Desert camping with my buddies. Some off road 1.5 miles graded road with some rough spots. February desert weather with wind.
Again, trailer performed well. Nice to have a hot shower after 2 days of hiking and target shooting.

I've had anything from a 12 foot utility trailer converted for camping, to a pick-up bed with a covered wagon style canopy, to a 21 foot 2016 Forest River, to a couple of home built trailers, and this is the latest iteration. I built it myself on the frame of a 1961 "ham can" Cardinal and because it is that age I can license ita lot cheaper. It is tall enough to stand up in, the mattress is a real queen size, and there is a portable toilet. The propane stove slides out on the same side as the door. It is wired for interior lights and an outlet. All kinds of under the bed storage, and I use a free standing portable canopy.

The trailer weighs 1200 pounds empty and I carry about 300 pounds of gear. I've thought about putting a heavier axle on it with hubs that would accept Toyota six lug wheels so the spare on the truck could be used, or for that matter the trailer wheels could be used on the truck. Maybe some day...

Inflatable, it folds down to the size of a large suitcase or backpack. And it glides pretty darn well for an inflatable.

I did the advanced elements convertible with dropstitch floor. There are better inflatables out there, but this guy happened to be on sale around the same time that I got my first stimmy check. :D

Home-built roof rack for spotting platform and/or kayaks & bikes & stuff. Home built bed drawers Firestone Ride-Rite airbags on the rear for level camp trailer towing
Jayco 17RK Hummingbird, Baja Edition with more ground clearance.
3,500# all loaded up (according to the truck scale on Highway 20)
Found matching a set of 4 sport wheels on Craigslist for $90 and now I have spares that work all the way around.
Pretty clean here, but we've coated it with a lot of backroad mud over the last few years.
Feeling spoiled on a much better mattress than it came with - often sleep better here than at home.

What model Geo Pro is that? We’re looking into those or the Flagstaff E-Pro. How does it tow?
