    Hey y'all,
I recently bought some air fresheners which had a clip that you attached to the back of the scent dispenser which attached to the AC vent, but when I attached mine the clip fell off and it got stuck in my AC vent way beyond the honeycombs. I was wondering if the clip fell further into the AC system would it cause any damage and if there was a way to get that little plastic clip out. Should have just bought some Little Trees.

Just pull the dash trim piece off and you should be able to retrieve it.

    Or, get some bubble gum.

The blower motor is in the passengers footwell. You're good, nothing will grenade.

I had Bic lighter go down my defroster vent one time and I forgot about it . Well one day I was driving and there was an explosion in my dash and I'm like what the hell was that . Then I saw down on the carpet mats some pieces of the lighter .

    True story:

Way back in the late 1980’s we were rolling joints in my friends Patricks’s mom’s Honda Accord. As they got twisted up, they were placed on the dash in a nice row. One of those joints rolled away towards the windshield and fell down into the window defrost vent. Fuuuuuk!!! We worked like hell to retrieve it, to no avail, until one of the other joints got smoked, at which point we lost interest and forgot all about it, refocusing on what kinda snacks we might get hold of.

Months later, as the weather warmed up, Pat’s mom is driving to work and turns on the AC for the first time that year. Magically, a perfectly rolled joint blows right out of the dash vent and straight onto her lap.

Pat comes home that day to the joint sitting on his desk with the note “I assume this is yours”.

This story could only be better if Pat came home to a half smoked joint sitting on his desk. :rasta: <--- Mom
