Can anyone recommend a good tire shine for off road tires that DOES NOT throw it back onto body of the truck?

I've always used the Black Magic brand but it throws back on the Tacoma.

I use meguiar's tire gel and doesn't throw it on the truck. Keeps a semi gloss finish for a bit but keeps the tires looking black rather than that awful brown color it can get.

NOTE - once I apply it, I let the truck sit overnight if not longer (days sometimes). I could imagine if I applied it and drove off it might throw it on the truck.

The duragloss doesn’t sling. It looks like skim milk as you spray it on. It’s very thin. You can just spray it on and then just wipe it around with a rag. Or spread with a paintbrush first and wipe the excess with a rag.

It’s my all time favorite and I’ve tried a lot of products. It’s also nice on mudflaps, weathertech floor mats (but it does get slippery, I don’t mind). Any exterior black plastic (OEM running boards, windshield cowl, or bumper caps).

I don't use tire shine on my tires.

Some methods to avoid getting the stuff on the side of your truck:
    1. install a lot of tire shine
    2. wipe it down with a rag (then throw the rag away)
    3. hose it off lightly
    4. let it air dry

Pretty much any tire shine will work. Apply with a applicator or sponge and buff with towel. No sling and will produce a nice matte finish.

This. And the other person that lets it dry overnight. There isn't a magical product. Just let it completely dry.

303 aerospace works great to darken the tires and protect from uv. I don’t like shiny tire dressing but i like the look of matte dark finish. Spray on and wipe with sponge to spread evenly

Don’t have experience with off road tires, but I like the optibond tire gel. Doesn’t sling and doesn’t give the overly shiny look.
