Yeah just a quick cheap shot and kicking in my taillight on the way back to his car. It's over now and $150 later the new light is on the way so it's settled to me, unless the police somehow manage to do their job and track him down to press charges.

I would've just let it go with the cheap shot since I'm sure he's not the first guy to ever want to hit my face, but he went too far with the hissy fit on the truck.

Added some blue accent . Not a lot which I think can look goddy or childish. Just a stripe and blue Tacoma lettering . I know some color match the vents, console and gear shift , but I think this is just enough that keeps it classy and subtle . What do you think ? Do U think it’s better to just color match the hell out of the interior ? :) 26D60C51-CA0D-4C62-BE47-6F30C4111FF6.jpg

True!!! I live in Houston. We now beat everybody in the nation in murder. You are allowed to carry and use your weapon in your vehicle because the law stipulates you are in your residence. :infantry:

Got the rear setup done today. Elka 2.5s with external reservoirs and adjusters, Icon RXT leaf pack set on option 2, ARB carrier bearing drop, and Wheelers extended brake lines. My stupid self forgot to take photos during the process, so all you get is dark close up shots while parked in the garage for the night. :(

Also, since a bunch of people are PMing me and asking... yes, my old setup is for sale. TRD Pro Fox 2.5s, Westcott front lift kit, and Headstrong AAL. Shameless plug: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...eadstrong-aal-lift-shim.726735/#post-25888079

I didn't expect this, but the brake lines were the least pleasant part of the whole job today. Doing anything with brake fluid is so messy and un-fun. Plus, these lines didn't have the big flange on them that pulls them tight against the brackets when you slide the spring clip in. Instead, they have two sets of slots, and you're supposed to install a spring clip on each side of the bracket. But... they didn't come with any clips. So I had to drive down to my local parts store, and the guy found some generic spring clips in the back that worked. Saved my butt, too, because the dealership couldn't have them until Tuesday, and the old lines were already off and I wasn't looking forward to reinstalling them.

Yeah, I heard about that. Something about having to get buckets of water out of canals to flush toilets. Fun times. :bucket:

    Looks good!

My truck came with the red lettering on the glove box and the tailgate, and I thought I was going to add some more red to the interior but realized they were just look too flashy and kind of ridiculous. I don’t need any more flare!

So I’m just gonna keep those very few things red and leave everything else it’s original dark black gray whatever color

It’s very easy to overdo especially with the mod bug infection we get from our trucks. The color it’s self can make it obnoxious as well. I took the cues from the design team at toyota and just made everything chrome black and everything gunmetal grey cement grey to match the exterior. There’s a lot of cement grey now, but I really don’t think it’s over done. E7EB0A52-0761-4AB5-8C5B-289A60E952D5.jpg

The bezel inside the instrument panel was the biggest PITA. No clue why toyota made the plexi a sealed unit.
