Where Have You Off-Roaded Today? 3rd Gen

I went on an off asphalt adventure today...

 

No way! Im from the KC area. Haven't been to Tuttle Creek yet, but it looks fun. Was it really muddy? Or did this heat wave finally dry the place out?

 

It’s a super fun place. I only spent a couple hours there though. I had the family with me. The heat wave dried it out. There was on a few muddy spots.

 

Looks pretty dry out there at Tuttle. Is the area that flooded a while back still bad?

 

Guess a winch is next on the mods list...

 

Went to Hollister Hills yesterday....

had lunch at Sycamore Camp....
Peanut butter honey with Fritos....yum. Took the afternoon off from work for a mental break. Gonna go to Gloria Road in the morning and pass over the Santa Lucia Grade through the Los Padres Forest. I’ll post pics tomorrow.

 

Went shooting inna woods in the Front Range of CO. Gorgeous day to be out and about, dodging popup rainstorms and kids on quads.

 

Did Long Canyon 4wd (16E27) and Bald Mtn Spur 4wd (16E29) up above Kyburz today. Pretty fun, a few fun obstacles, but no good pictures on them because they just look flat in pictures.

Originally wanted to do Medano Pass but it was an absolute muddy mess with all of the rain we got this past week and my wife and I were alone so we bagged it and turned around to do something a bit more mellow. Glad we did too, it looked like snow was falling on the pass last night, definitely wasn’t prepared for temps that low.

 

Second day going out testing the waters with the stock off road setup at Black Mountain Truck Trail in Ramona, CA. Easy and fun

How's the trail? Has it been graded or is it still rutted out?

 

I’d consider it pretty graded, even being a trail noobie. Nothing crazy and could’ve probably made it in 2wd. I went during midday and the trail was nice and empty, encountered maybe 4 other vehicles.

 

Made it up to Gallaher Lake in Washington to try to beat the gnarly heat

 

Any recommendations for Chattanooga area? Would love to hit some trails that leads up to fishing or a specatucar view.
