I'm pretty dissatisfied with my Icons and how they rode, and the Kings are great, but idk what coating they use, but it is trash. My rear shocks look rough for sure. I considered cerakote or something for the shock bodies, but I'm not that glam. I'm not a huge fan of Fox (not for any valid reason, just knew a lot of dicks in high school with Fox logos and now I can't un-link those memories), and ADS was as long of a leadtime as King.

We'll see how these ride. At the end of the day, shocks are shocks -- the magic isn't in the brand, its in the valving. I'd like to get good at rebuilding them so I can do it myself based on my needs.

This stuff right here will protect your shocks unlike anything else. Doesn't even get pressure washed off. When assembling some coilovers with an inadequate compressor I accidentally took a bunch of paint off the coils. I sprayed the bare metal spots with this stuff and the bare metal stayed bare metal color and never started developing rust. https://www.amazon.com/CRC-06026-Heavy-Corrosion-Inhibitor/dp/B0000AXYA0

Thank you! I'm thinking I'll do shocks again in 2-3 years, so just trying to learn as much as possible.

Did the Icons leak? That's the common issue I hear about them.

I've been leaning towards Radflo, as I want something tuned to my vehicle. But, I'll probably change my mind about 20 times before I do anything.

You can get any set of shocks tuned to your vehicle, btw. Accutune/other companies will happily make a set of custom valved shocks for ya. I have heard good things about radflo for sure.

Icons tend to leak and squeak. Rich had one thats leaking but apparently it stopped… i told him its probably out of fluid.

Ready for the Pipeline. New shoes today, Kenda Klever R/T 33X10.5R17. Love the way they look!

I'll have some Falken Wildpeak 265/70R17 with about 23,000 miles for sale that I took off.

No, ordered through Wlamart online and had delivered. I was surprised, ordered on Monday and were delivered Wednesday.
