    Leaving rca plugs does this make it so you can hook up an amp? Previous I added a plug and play rca to run my Rockford amp. Will this replace my plug n play rca ? Thanks

    You could cut off the loc from your existing harness and splice it right here

    As long as
    1) you still wire the male side of the Metra harness correctly
    2) you make sure your current amp can take hi-level inputs, and you adjust any settings and gain accordingly

    Yeah I’m sure that would work. Again, make sure any settings are correct and set your gain again after the install

    I replaced all the stock speakers with the Kickers & installed the Hideaway a few years ago. I finally decided to install the Key as no got everything hooked up this week. If anyone is on the fence, do it!! I was amazed at the difference it made in the sound, it seriously sounds 100 times better than before.

    Thank you to everyone who provided input on this thread!! The directions were easy to follow & made the install go smoothly.

    So I’m going to buy this. The brown wire is ground so I hook that up to the ground/black on the harness and my remote to the blue on the harness?
