Hello, im sure this has been asked a million times but might as well make it a million and one. I need to buy a Tonneau cover, was hoping for something scratch resistant on the top and has to be a tri fold. Any suggestions? Would love Pics of some yours, thanks everyone.

Not sure exactly what bed anchoring points you mean, but all 4 are exposed on the bottom of my bed. There's 2 larger silver ones up front, and the 2 smaller black D rings in the rear of the bed. Really don't need any mounted elsewhere. I've able to find use for all 4 at times carrying stuff.

OEM cover mounts above the rails, looks like.

Another vote for the OEM cover. A lot of folks bash it here on TW, but it is one tough heavy duty mutha-phuka! I bet you could stand on it and not do any damage.

With the MX4 you actually remove the rails and mount them to the MX4 brackets. They are still usable but lowered.

Exactly, just the other day i stuck a 6 gallon full outboard fuel tank up on it while i loaded the rest of my gear in the bed ahead of it, so i didn't have to reach far for the tank. Tonneau cover never sagged a bit. This wolfstein tonneau cover protectant is pretty good the dealer supplied me with. It leaves an invisible film on the cover that protects the surface from the suns ultra violet rays, plus all the sap, and bird poop that gets spattered all over it everyday.

As far as durability goes, no doubt. The Diamondbacks are indestructible and well made.

I don't like the way they function and I don't care for the appearance either. With the MX4, I can reveal 90% of the bed in seconds, and can remove and store the entire cover by removing two plastic wingnuts and lifting it out...maybe 30 seconds, 1 minute tops. This is huge for me as I haul a dirt bike and other items that need the full bed. The diamondback is cumbersome to remove/store and leaves 10% of un-usable bed space smack in the middle. And again (opinion here) they're ugly.

I'm talking about those 4 loose tie downs that were included with the truck in a plastic bag and fit in the track that's near the top of the bed on each side. The Undercover (and I expect most others) side rails cover that track.

They have a new version that folds up against the back window, too.

The Bakflip MX4 allows you to use those due to relocating of the rails. I can use mine with the MX4 up or down.

Hello, thanks for the post. This is actually the cover I chose. How do you like those bungee attachments? I live in New Hampshire and was wondering how they would stand up in the hot and cold?
