Looking for help with OEM Brake Pads. I Ordered PN 04465-AZ100 Amazon.com: TOYOTA 04465-AZ100 FR Brake PAD: Automotive. I beilieve this is a Ceramic Pad. Has anyone used these pads with success? I think I also need to order the shim kit which i dont have the part number for. When i use a dealer parts catalog it comes up with PN 04465-04070 Amazon.com: Genuine Toyota 04465-04070 Disc Brake Pad Kit, Front: Automotive. Semi Metallic Pad? Should i just order these instead?

The Toyota 04465-AZ100 w/no shims are Ceramic.
ADVICS AD0976 with shims are the reported to be the same exact pads.
Shims part # 04945-0C030 should be the right one. You may double check that though.

Yes, many people have used them.
I think the later year trucks even came with ceramic from the factory.

I myself, haven’t used the OEM ceramic.
I went aftermarket. They had their own shims.

    Good luck to you.

Thank you very much. What rotors do you typically use? Think I’m going with OEM.

Just recently changed out the old OEM pads on my rig to new OEM brake pads....you can reuse the shim (confirmed by dealer tech) if they are not compromised.
If you go with aftermarket keep the old shims.....worth $40.00 CND each set

    Good Luck

The ones from Advanced Auto Parts.
So far they have been fine for 71k.

I also used their premium ceramic pads.
