Does anyone know any good spiked lug nuts that are made out of steel and are black that would work with a 3rd Gen Tacoma Off-Road using stock wheels?

    thank you

I need to get in this, but i have nothing nice to say.

I'd recommend getting calf implants vs. buying these lug nuts

Not to discourage you being you… but you do realize that these are illegal in some states and that the auto industry moved away from these things in the 60s due to damage to other vehicles and maiming innocent pedestrians. Ever look at the side guard rails that are chewed up… ever wondered what did that? 18 wheeler. Imagine your truck instead. Liability much? No thank you.

Maybe a truck stop bling shop could help you out?

'After' photos please. Just because it's hard to imagine something so Texas Metal worthy.

    Wait. Its is bagged, right?

When I see those lug nuts i draw a stereotype in my mind and it's not a good one. I think tribal tattoos, long philtrum, thin lips, no trapezius definition, bud light, bumping florida georgia line and no trigger discipline when posing with a weapon.

I work at an airport and the employee parking garage is also used by the public, public which usually carries luggage and doesnt care about other peoples vehicles, on multiple occasions I have come back to the parking garage to find that my truck has several lines of scratches going side to side on the doors or fender flares when I made sure to park as far as possible from all the other vehicles (I used to park on the 5th floor out of 6 floors)... the damage was caused by people rolling their luggage too close to other vehicles when they park next to someone, it happened twice before I decided to start parking on the 6th floor (the roof) of the parking garage because nobody likes parking there since their vehicle is under the sun.

I have also had people swerving into my lane on multiple occasions while driving to work. I noticed a few of those big ass trucks with spiky lug nuts and it gave me the idea to get some of them for my truck as a deterrent for people not to get too close.

That won't protect your truck though. I get the want to "get back" at people by hitting their shins but you'll get the innocent too (and likely yourself). This is coming from someone who has a giant deep scratch on the driver's side because a drunk biker must have rubbed the handle down the whole side.

You're better off with some side steps and some ceramic coating, which will keep people's bags off of your body work and put a layer over your paint to protect it. Sure more expensive but it fits your purpose way better.

Your solution is cruel and unusual.

Consider sliders or side steps… works like a charm and useful.
Most laws are written so that wheels/parts can’t exceed the fender (thus bushwhackers, etc.)
The cops may not stop you (no different than a burned out signal light), but in litigation… you’re the evil one hell bent on killing everyone else with your gross negligence. But officer, I didn’t MEAN to injure anyone.

    Well, leave it to Flor-I-Duh….

Florida Uniform Traffic Control Statute does not prohibit them, so long as the overall vehicle width does not exceed 102 inches. Knock yerself out.

I have some side steps already (well rock sliders) but they didnt do much to protect against rolling luggage and passengers, the sides of my truck still got scratched. I thought about getting ceramic coating but with all the scratches that my truck has now (the paint lifted off in some scratched areas) id probably have to pay to get the scratches fixed first then pay for ceramic coating.
