Welcome and bring a thick wallet.

Lots of people from Louisiana here. We have boils a few times a year.

You get a place in Aurora or just a stopping point?

Any auto maintenance you need done, Big Nicks. Good people.

Bought a house. Planning on staying for awhile.

I still do my own auto work, but it's good to have a name. There are a few things I just can't buy the tools to do.... like refrigerant recovery.

Went up Lookout Mountain Road tonight.... went to Toad Mountain Brewing too.

In your opinion, how is the real estate market compared to where you left? I have watched in the past 5 years the property values go vertical.

Careful with the beers and elevation.

Lots of great exploring to do. Enjoy all of it.

I thought the beers help keep you vertical in Colorado!! :drunk:

Yeah, sucks if you're buying. I paid more than double for less house. Saved a little on one that needs updating. We flooded in 2016, so we're used to remodeling.

Welcome to Colorado! It’s been my favorite place to get stationed with the military. I was in Colorado Springs. Unfortunately I just had to move to Texas and I miss it already. Please enjoy the state and always stay on the trail

Nice! We just moved from houston to colorado springs. Been here since june 1st. Been heading up into the mountains just about every weekend. Loving this cool dry air! Glad to leave that humid sauna behind.

Houston and Baton Rouge are very close in weather. I won't miss it.

We temporarily relocated to central Mississippi to sell the house and it's only a touch drier.

Love the Colorado weather in comparison for sure.

@Woodrow F Call , I'm jealous and want to move back to CO - soon! There's a cool little cafe up HWY 7 in the town of Allenspark where I used to live called Meadow Mountain cafe. Worth stopping in for some local grub if you're traveling up that way. /

Also if you want to taste the best water in the world then just opposite the cafe is a random little shed which has drinking water flowing 24/365 called Crystal Springs. Take a container or two and fill em up. https://www.google.com/maps/uv?pb=!...2ahUKEwip_pyvz97xAhWT754KHUzWD5MQ9fkHegQIARA4

I live in Aurora too. Bought a condo last year after two years renting an apartment in Arvada. It’ll be 3 years in Colorado for me on September 30. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
