Just bought a Pedal Commander (don't judge :p) hoping to alleviate 2nd gear bogging out on 4cyl, 5 Speed manual. Anyway this 2 minute job has hit a snag because there is what appears to be a toggle switch above it which blocks connector from being disconnected.
Anyone know what this switch is?
Tried to loosen screw so that I could shift it out of the way but I need to be a contortionist to do so.
Maybe unscrew pedal and pull it out a little? Thanks

If it's behind the clutch pedal, maybe it's the clutch switch? So the truck knows the clutch is depressed when you start it.

Thanks for reply, It's right above gas pedal. Not effected by pressing clutch, gas, or brake pedal. I'm thinking it may be some kind of kill switch?

Figured it out, It's a emergency brake switch, shows when emergency brake is engaged.
Still can't disconnect accelerator harness, I have a tendency to be impatient and use too much force which results in breaking things.

Pedal Commander is in :rofl:So far not overly impressed. Will have to play around a bit with it. Maybe it's not as effective with a manual transmission. Read comments, reviews, Most were like best upgrade ever. Only used it on one trip today, tried different settings, will update after more usage.
