Black Badge Overlays

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with overlays like these?

Looking through threads, it looks like OEM is generally $120+. These are quite a bit cheaper. tempted to buy and try but the low price is making me think they are not very good quality.

 

My $20 ones off eBay are holding up 1.5 years later. You just want to make sure they are black plastic all the way through and not painted.

I can't imagine there are that many suppliers making these overlays they probably all come from the same factory in china.

 

Those are basically what I ordered and put on a few days ago. Some spots on the “Tacoma” you can see a little of the chrome but for $30 I pretty much expected that.

 

I bought mine from eBay and have no complaints with them.

 

You could save some money and have a clean look just removing all the badges for free… as another option

Yes, de-badge.

 

I used hyper dip, don’t really care for the bulky look of the overlays. Stuff is magic.

 

I kinda think other colors could be cool too.
Or not...
I'm not a photoshop pro so...

I would say go for it. Amazon has a great return policy so you won’t lose out. Then, you can let us know if it’s legit or not! Amazon actually has the same glovebox/coin holder plastic pieces for the lowest price than any other vendor.
