haven’t needed to schedule an appt for the upgrade since I have the new hinge material and haven’t experienced any cracking or tearing. I have been in talks with gfc about their PIT coming to the springs but so far nothing scheduled on their end to come here.

yea I don’t want to spend too much…mainly trying to go stock to give the taco back to the dealership…I have a slight scuff on one the taillights that maybe they won’t notice.

Current setup UCA 3” lift 255/80R17 and did not CMC.
Poor caster (will change it) possibly contributed to my regular RokBlokz no longer clearing. Not that they’re supposed to. That’s what their bigger tire version model is for.

If it didn't cut into the plastic and is truly just a scuff, you might be able to buff it out with some polish. :notsure:

Currently on 265/75/16 and was going to go 255/85/16, but only MT available as the Cooper ST Maxx are out of stock…. May just go with the same tire and call it a day as cmc and gears are not worth the hassle

A Tacoma, just like everybody else...
I have 285/75 17 and I feel no need to get a regear, tune was all I needed.
I needed the CMC because of the UCA's I chose to go with but my buddy at work with stock ucas and 285/75 16 has no rubbing.

Also for what it's worth I didn't need to do my CMC until I installed aftermarket UCA's.

    Both of us wheel ours.

Edit: should clarify when I saying no rubbing I am not counting your bumper and fender flare. These need to be cut/trimmed. Front bumper especially if you are trying to avoid a CMC.

I'm pretty sure it does since people have been putting the 3rd gen TRD Pro aluminum skid on 2nd gens without any mods that I know of. Want me to grab this for you @RtacomaN - I'll add it to your leaf spring pile.

Well I found a flash deal and decided that the 1.5” isn’t necessary…. I went with 265/75/16 and will have the 17” wheels available for beer/whiskey/99…. Maybe a week from now if anyone needs them.

I'm curious if there is anyone here that would be interested in trading my 265/75R16 Toyo AT3's (12/32's even wear) for your 255/85R16's? I could do with or without wheels, mine are a full set of 5 TRD OR with matching size spare (Cooper tire). Plus cash of course for the right trade.

Can you pop one of these on the scale (BONUS if you remove the valve but leave the center cap on)?
