Target trip date: leave Great Basin NP on June 29 2018....it'd be nice to end at Black Rock for 4th of Juplaya.

Estimated at 5 days of dirt roads.

Here's a rough idea of the route I'm thinking about following. Instead of going up into Oregon I may try to find a route east into Black Rock. Open to suggestions as I haven't explored much along this route.

 There are a few dirt roads that run east west from paradise over to the blackrock area. Sometimes gas shortage becomes a problem on the longer stretches though.

That route would be okay if your goal was to end up in Oregon. Theres plenty of interesting things to hit if you wanted to meander around hwy 50 and then shoot across 80 around LL or imlay or even the mucc and then shoot over to the playa. Lots to see south of 50 as well. Although the paradise/denio region is really cool too it just seems a lot farther on an already long trip.

Postponed. I haven't been able to make it happen between surgeries and infusions.

Yeah I'm down whenever. Maybe not the entire thing because extra days off in the summer are hard with my job, but I'm definitely in for a portion.

Back in Reno for good. I showed a friend this thread he's in too. For the gass issue, I'd get 2x Jerry cans,2x Jerry cans for water .
