Now that’s how you do it. I waited like 6 years to get my topper. Way too long.

I've wanted a Tacoma for a long time. Making up for it by trying to get things set for it right away.

I have one from when I was sleeping in the backseat (air mattress that fills up floorboard. i'm really short). I have a rectangular magnetic mosquito net I throw on top of the sunroof and hang the little fan right in front of it. Works wonders. It'll be coming with me in the SofTopper to Arkansas this weekend!

Don't drive it like that. Too much pressure on the rear panel.

    303 fabric guard.
Have read the outdoor fabric and marine edition are similar. Have used both and no difference, do it once a year, 2 coats in the heat after cleaning and good as new.

PS - ski gear gets done at the same time so it's ready for winter.

PXL_20210726_165227239~2.jpgheading out on a 4 night camp trip with my wife, dog and newborn baby boy - The soft topper is a great way to carry all the baby stuff! Never thought I'd fill the bed up so quick. Bringing the receiver winch just in case - the campsite is primitive, remote, and down a pretty rugged dirt road

Have fun man! I've done many trips with the wife and baby back in the day and like you, filled the softopper. It's a great product.

    Just some stuff...
Has anybody come up with a "cool" way to roll up the sides and the rear window so that the ends of the side panels don't just droop off the rear end?

Have you tried rolling from the outside in? Will it be a pain to do, most likely.

    stolen pic from Softopper.

Never noticed that before. I'll give it a try. It's the ends that stick out towards the rear that kinda bug me. Not sure why, but it does. I'm sure eventually I probably won't care. But right now it definitely does. Haha!

Rite rite. The only other thing would to roll it the easy way (inside out) and fold in the ends at the last moment. Worth a shot, I guess.

fold the ends over before rolling up the sides.

the softopper way (above) looks the cleanest, but it takes a lot longer in my experience.

I can't figure out any reason why I'd need to run it safari style other than just to do it

i really only do it when i need to spray out the bed and let it air dry. and sometimes i'll just leave it that way for a few days just cause it's already up.
