Hey im looking at buying a 10 ft bass hound boat. The beam measurement is 55 inches. I cant find a measurement for the bottom I was wondering if anybody has one that they can measure at the very bottom or if they have hauled it in the back of a tacoma if it sits flat back there.

The bass hound is like a mini bass boat but the size of a small jon boat. It's made of plastic.

I had a Pelican Bass Raider 8' that i would haul around in the back of my DCSB no problem. Just kept the tailgate down and strapped it in, fit like a glove. It's similar to the bass hound.

I ended up buying a pelican bass raider 10 ft and it is just small enough to fit in between the fender wells. It's awesome.

I know this is old as hell, but do you happen to have any pictures of the bass raider in the bed? Im looking to get one of these boats (when they come back in stock) and wanted to see it in a tacoma, and hear how you like it.

It's a very nice little boat. A little tight for 2 adults but like the Cadillac of kayak fishing. Very stable, you can stand up, walk around, break dance and it doesnt rock around.
I have a tool box so I got one of those harbour freight bed extenders so I can keep the toolbox in and the boat at the same time. If you have a short bed and get a 10 ft boat you might want to get the bed extender thing too.
