I'd buy one. I *almost* bought an FJ Cruiser back when they came-out. My neighbor has a built FJ which I'm openly jealous of.

Personally, if Toyota ever goes out of it's way to make a Niche vehicle the FJ would be great for that but I would like them see go full niche and bring back some solid axles, the 4.7 T-Case, Aisin hubs etc. That said I do like this render, the short grill and flat hood makes adding aftermarket fenders and bumpers super easy, could even build a full tube front and keep the factory grill and hood since they are easy to work around. But that will never happen.

Just import a 70 series with solid axles and 3x locked and out wheel this fantasy vehicle.
