I've looked around and can't find anything - sorry if I missed it - anyone know if there's an aftermarket shifter seat for the 2005-15 6 spd Manual v6 4.0? I found all sorts of options for the first gen, but it seems that for the second gen you have to buy the whole shifter base (with seat installed) for $90... https://www.yotashop.com/toyota-tac...n-shifter-base-with-shifter-seat-33506-35170/

Basically I need this, but for second gen: https://www.amazon.com/TOYOTA-Genui...ifter+seat&qid=1628103018&s=automotive&sr=1-1

I found the bushing, but not the seat. I have some slop in the shifter, I know that sometimes that can be the shifter itself but if I can find it, I figured I'd try the $20 option of bushing and seat first.

    Thanks in advance

marlin crawler makes this "heavy duty" seat for the RA60- https://www.marlincrawler.com/transmission/shifter-parts/heavy-duty-seats

I ran that for a little bit but because it is solid it made the shifter vibrate/ring too much for me and i did not like it.

A while back someone at the parts counter at toyota was able to help me pull a oem number for the shifter seat and order it for me. Yes it is part of the whole shifter base but you just need to have the right person order it for you, it can be done...

Got it, good to know! Thanks for the response. I’ll find a time to go in and talk to them.

I ordered the Marlin crawler one aswell. But until I got ahold of it, my dealer parts guy gave me a first gen one to try. Still works so far. 50+k
