:(It's gone, I hit some icy roads mixed with a bad ass snowstorm, throw in some wind from the side, and off I go into the ditch! I have a sore back, but the truck is trashed. I hit the ditch around 70/80km/h and the airbag didn't deploy( Didn't hit it just right, is what the dealership said:confused:?) I will post a pic soon. What to buy? I had a 07 TRD Sport DC... I will have an insurance cheque for around $25-28000.. looked around locally today, and there's nothing Im interested in. Nothing really compares except another taco...life throws a curve ball when you least expect it!

Sucks, so the way to fix it is a nice brand new shinny Taco. I did notice the nice ones are rare and few and far between up here. You should have good luck on the coast though. Lots of places to look around. Here not so much. Lots of Tacos but not to many really nice ones.

the truck filled with water in less than 30 seconds, and i couldn't get out!! The angle of the truck was too much...I had to wait til someone stopped and helped me out. I have a window breaker tool, but it got dislodged from the impact(in the door)... keep yours close!

Did the doubler brace on the underside of the hood rip out? I thought that brace is welded onto the hood?

The way to get the window open in a hurry is take off your seat belt and pull as much slack out as you can then smack the glass with your seat belt whip with the metal buckle on the end. It will break every time. One sharp smack is all it takes. No extra tool required

As you found out the tools get lost in a crash.

I was going to get a tool for my truck then thought about it and decided in a wreck you'll never find it anyway so I'm just going with the seat belts clips now. Driving into lakes and rivers is very common around here cause the roads can get really bad. You might be doing just fine minding your own business and somebody smacks into you and you end up in the lake. Best to have a plan before that happens. Remember chances are the windows will not work.

Good thing somebody came by and helped you out.
