When I found out we were having twins it was overwhelming. 5 years later it still is, but I'm use to it now and am grateful. When my wife was pregant the OB asked if we wanted to know the sexes. She said we'd have to wait for the sonogram specialist for confirmation, but she could tell us now. She told us we were having two girls. My first thought, to myself, was "fuck, i just started to get my shit together and stop getting in trouble, and as soon as my daughters start dating I'm going to fuck up some kid if they do something wrong to them". Couple months of stressing over that among other things and we go see the sonogram specialist. She tells us we're having a boy and a girl. First thought to myself, "thank god, worst case my son goes to juvie for a couple months".

Its a lot of work, as you know, but we're truely lucky to have one of each and get it all over at once. My kids entertain each other more and more now, giving us a little more time to breath now (vs. kids of different ages into different things due to the age gap).

Hope that stroller is working out well.

 

haha, totally. When they told us we were having twin girls, I'm pretty sure everyone in the room could sense my frustration and disappointment. But still really blessed to have two healthy and beautiful children. We are one year in and things are starting to get a little easier... Dude, we have been putting some miles on that stroller. Even put some new shoes on it. I can't thank you enough for the hookup on that.
