Saw my truck atop the Bass Pro Shop at the Pyramid in Memphis.

Truck is just barely visible in the lot in pic 1.

I've never been there. Bass Pro Shop Pyramid looks like a lot of fun though

It's actually pretty cool. If you ever go, the elevator ride is about $9. Cover both ways. If you want to walk the steps up, it's some 4000 steps. There is also a hotel, bowling alley, and shooting range inside. I'm sure hotel is $$$$$ but there were folks staying there.

Nice setups I want a similar shot but can't get out.
To do this you'll need to drop down to a 20mm lens or less.

The issue is getting into VERY DARK SKIES and focus -

Take 1 shot in focus of the truck and lighting.
Take another few of the sky - but this is tricky.

To get a good sky shot you gotta get into 'live' mode and focus on 1-star while setting
the focus to infinity. All the way to the left ( or right ) would be the infinity setting but I find
this to be off a hair and you may need to back off a hair. In Live Mode choose 1 star and increase
magnification of the view and when you get a nice focus you are set.

Then of course set the ISO to 1600 or so and the shutter to 10-15-20 seconds and take some shots.

Now comes the tricky part - stacking the images.

If you get 2-3 good clean images of the stars stack those up and then stack the truck-shot (foreground)
on top and you'll get nice focus on foreground and background and come up with a bitchin shot.

This one shot with my Nikon D3500 and Tokina 11-16. The small mountain was lit-up by pressing the brake
lights for about 1 second during a 20 second shot. The streak in the shot is an airplane, sometimes represented
by dots if the plane lights are blinking. I focused my infinity on Jupiter ( the big white star )

It’s just the drivers side of the hood… but the view is pretty good right here.

I actually went there prob 10 ot 11 years ago. Been divorced about a year, had some extra money finally (i.e. no more wife to drain the account lol).

Took my mom and we went to Eureka Springs for a small "mom and son" get away. We made a day of it by going to a few stops along the way. When we got to the one in Springfield, it was rather impressive at how big it was. Strangely enough, when we were there she must have bought nearly $200 in clothes that was on clearance. My truck at the time was a regular cab Sierra, so wasn't a lot of room for bags .

It was a nice day trip though.
