Aight so I bought the DJM 3/4 drop kit and shocks. I did the install and everything went pretty smoothly. Only issue is at a full turn something is binding in the front but I can't tell what it is. It's on the stock 14" wheels currently but my shop just called saying my wheels were in. I want to resolve this issue if possible before I put the wheels on. Any ideas? Also the djm shocks are bouncy af.

Did you have to do the ball joint flip? Are all your steering linkage bushings in good shape? Can you turn it full lock and then stick a light/camera phone under to see better? My initial thought would be tie rod bushings being worn.

What kind of binding are you experiencing? Does it just get hard to turn farther?

New upper control arms, relocated the lower ball joints, new tie rods, new sway bar links, and all new bushings. My thought was the sway bar links. There's minimal clearance when I feel back there but it sounds like metal on metal rubbing. It gets bad enough to almost lock it completely down. I'm taking it to a shop tomorrow to have wheels fitted, fenders rolled and inner fender trimming done. I'm gonna have him check it out. He's a big Toyota guy so should be pretty simple. If he can't I'll test when it's on the lift for alignment.

I thought about that. But it's a constant bumpy. I pick it up today from the shop so fingers crossed. He was rolling, trimming, and fixing little odd and end stuff. Fingers crossed

Quick update. The binding was from it being the 14" wheels. Clearance was minimal and was actually catching the balance weights on the inside of the wheels. The rear was hitting the bump stops, we cut them in half for now and I'll be buying some low pro stops for now. Will be notching the frame in the near future as soon as I get a reputable guy in the area to do it. We did have to trim the rear, trim and roll the front. All is good for now. I'll drop a pic tomorrow!

Nice . Dual adjustable coil overs and shocks helped a lot with mine . Its a lowered prerunner though . Should help a lot with yours I would think as far as being bouncy .

I replaced shocks already, cutting the bump stops helped a ton. Alignment should kill some of the vibration I got going now.

Wheels are 18x8.5 +20 tires are a 225/40. Had to roll on front and remove splash guards. Rear we had to trim a little. I have no rubbing at all so far.

Good looking truck man! I also have the 3/4 djm kit on my 03. What shocks are you running on yours? I’m currently using the one that djm offered on their site for their kit

Hello i am almost done installing my DJM kit, I am confused about the sway bar end links bushings and sleeve. The factory end line that bolts the sway bar is an L shape while the DJM is a straight bolt and bushing. Do you have a picture of your sway bar with the djm hardware?
