anyone buy from KOONS in NoVa/MD ?

I'm south of Richmond and might be in the market for a new Tacoma. Seems like Koons in NoVa/Md has the best prices. Anyone ever deal with them?

 

I go only to Koons and they are pretty good from my experience. Bought my wife's corolla there and take my truck there for service and the TSB's. Never a complaint.

 

Just got mine from them, not pushy, easy to deal with and had the best prices w/o haggling.

 

I realize this thread is a bit old, but I totally agree. I've bought my last two Tacomas from Koons in Arlington, fantastic customer service. The sales manager (Kent Reeves) went above and beyond.

 

What about services?

just got my new truck from them. only dealership in the area that had an SR, access cab, 4x4. went smoothly all though they did really push their aftermarket warranties.

I bought a Kia Stinger from the Koons in Tysons corner in 2019. It went well and they did a good job whenever I took it in to get worked on.

 

I would never buy from them. They were pushy with me and were 20% higher in price. Then they had a vehicle pulled up for me to take even when I said I didn't want one. I also took in my FJ for a windshield repair to only have them joy ride it and not replace the seals and not glue down the pillar panel. The panel literally flew off while driving down 95 after I picked it up! It was a mess and I finally had to get USAA involved and they took care of it all. I ended up buying from Miller Toyota of Manassas. I walked in, guy gave me his bottom line without haggle and ordered my truck that day. Received it a month later for that price.

 

If you look at the "WOW" prices advertised, you'll change your mind soon. Overpriced by about $5k. Purchased a Mustang GT factory order from them back in '16 for way under invoice and that was a smooth transaction. In this climate they are raping customers so I'd advise to shop around. McGeorge in Richmond is at least not going over MSRP and dealt with a friendly salesman on the phone.

 

I’m buying my TRX from them for $12k under MSRP and have no complaints thus far from their end.

 

bought few vehicles from KOONS, I'd say they are good dealerships.

 

Bought my TRD Sport in May/2021 from Koons in Easton, MD. I hear their prices are close to $70+ these days...that's sad!
