And pricing isn’t a whole lot different in their respective currencies. Just Toyota cheaping out like usual.

Out of curiosity, what annoys you about TSS? The only thing that ever bothered me was the radar cruise control which I always turn off the radar portion to have normal cruise control.

It reduces your customization options in terms of grille choices and replacing the windshield will be $2-300 more expensive because of that front camera behind the rear view mirror. Also, I dropped the sensitivity for the frontal collision warnings and still beeps like crazy when someone driving in front of me hits their brakes a bit too quick.

Half of your problem with the TSS "brake alert" is the fact that you're in Texas :p By far the craziest traffic I've been in as far as randomly going from 75+ to dead stop 3 times a day.

My brake alert happened today, seemed to be a malfunction because the car in front of me had over 2 car lengths between us and he didn't even tap his brakes. Hoping it was a one time occurrence.

I think I might do the same thing. Just put a down turned tip on it right after the muffler.

I’m used to the traffic. I don’t need my vehicle do the driving for me… I own that SOB. I love my truck, but sometimes it feels too modern so I use my 2008 Tacoma.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I've been wanting to change out the hardware on the gate cover for awhile, but couldn't find the right screw heads. This helps alot.

Your welcome. 25/64 is the drill bit size I used for the rivi-nuts. I used touch up paint after I drilled the holes to cover the bare metal, and a small amount of grease to the new bolts when I put them in.

Looks good but I wonder if these non OEM decals will last as long as factory, I'm thinking fading mostly...

That is interesting. I love the radar cruise. I just turn it to the lowest distance setting. The only thing is when someone is turning off the hiway in front of me, it will slow down. don't care for that part.

Knew I would have needed sliders eventually. Didn’t think I’d push the rocker in so soon. :(

I had similar stickers on my 2008 model. Lasted the entire 14 1/2 years I owned it.

Good answer. I thought for sure the answer would’ve been, cuz it dumb and I can drive without it. Etc. although I’m fine with my grill option tss included.

Just applied some Trim Tonic From Liquid Performance to the Side mirror Trim. First time using it and it only takes a very small amount to obtain good coverage. The sponge applicator helped to get the in the tight areas. Very happy with the results.
