Yes it’s the 3M stuff. I’ve started to peel the edge of the T off with my thumb nail and they seemed to separate from the adhesive pretty easy. I bought them from BD Trims and they are pretty thin and easy to get ahold of. Getting down in the indentions of the letters to dig the glue out is the part I’m dreading. I’ll look into some type of a wonder wheel.
    Thank you

I need some detailing tips if anybody has some suggestions to share for my AG... my truck looks clean, but if you get up close I have these water spots that I can't seem to get rid of. I use microfiber towels and chemical guys wash mit, and try to go easy, but can't seem to get rid of these spots and seem to be causing some swirls. Soap I use is Chemical Guys as well. I used Meguiars ceramic wax at one point... was wondering if this might be caused by overspray I didn't get wiped off? But can't really shake it at all now.

I actually have the same issue. Every time I wash I get these spots and swirling no matter how gentle I am and no matter how many times I use my microfiber to dry her off. It drives me insane…

My Made in Mexico AG Taco has swirls also. Very hard to keep it nice. Can't wait until I get a good Ceramic polish on it.

I had this problem as well. I used McGuires gold wash and a good absorbent drying cloth and it took care of it for me here in Georgia

Are you using a shammy or something else? I have this issue as well oddly enough. I’ve used good soaps and shammies on all of my previous vehicles and never had this issue on them. Unsure what the difference is but I’d like to figure it out. Started thinking I bought some bad shammies but maybe that’s not the case

You need to detail and then clay bar your vehicle to remove hard water. That will take you a Saturday, it's not hard but it's super time-consuming. Then put a good wax on it so it doesn't get hard water spots again.

I've used mothers clay bars for years on my vehicles.

i have the same water spots on my cement truck. i am guessing it is caused by the water itself, i think we have pretty hard water here in dallas. i have heard using diluted vinegar can work but ive been too lazy to try it.

I am getting them also. Can't let it dry on its own. You definitely have to use a towel. I have been using Turtle Wax Zip wax liquid soap and am extended super soft brush (from Walmart). I can't reach the top of the truck without it.

Need a real wax job first. Always microfiber dry. Never wash when metal is hot or in the sun. My experience is soap “waxes” don’t actually do anything except not strip your wax. Just my experience though I’m not a professional detailer by any stretch.

This has been working for me. Brand of towel is pro elite - nothing special, got them at Autozone. C1D2DF60-2E4F-425F-862E-375A96DBCD8E.jpg

AFFE179B-FF4F-46E9-AC33-2B7779D486EB.jpg Since I had AG on my 4runner Pro but traded it in on tundra Pro. I use a buffer all the time with Grotts correction cream with 2 inch buffer and use there ceramic spray comes out awesome. A lot of work tho.
