    Got two big loads of some recently downed trees by PG&E or Caltrans subs. Ca. Has been crazy bad w wild fires and not looking good. We were evacuated last year for 3 weeks around this time due to the CZU fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains. There was a ton of firewood for the taking if you were motivated because they dropped so many trees to combat the devastating fire. They racked up tons of big trees in good dirt pullouts, take your pick of oak& madrone! Today I bucked up one huge oak that was 24’ long and more than 20” dia. At the bottom, it was super wet and green dripping water out even though we’re in a super drought! Got two loads today, 1st was 35- 12/16” rounds, 2nd.     Nice load! I sometimes take off my tool box to fully utilize the long bed, definitely wanted to today but it’s a hassle! Nice to see Tacos doing real time work!
